Believe it or not, it’s already November. Where has the year gone? With winter quickly approaching, everyone is getting in the holiday spirit. Later this month, we celebrate Thanksgiving, a holiday that has become synonymous with family gatherings, delicious food, and being grateful for everything we have. We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for a few things we get to enjoy on a daily basis.

      • Our customers: First and foremost, we want to thank our customers. We cannot express how much we appreciate their business as part of the ImageSoft family. Without them, we would not be the successful organization we are. Our team values their commitment to us, and we take pride in getting to know them on a personal level. Our customers will never be “just an account” to us, and we aim to support them as best as possible throughout our partnership. We thank them for believing in our solutions and communicating with us to help us improve. We look forward to continuing to work with everyone over the years as well as welcoming some new faces into the ImageSoft family.
      • Our team: We couldn’t possibly forget to thank our team of experts who work day in and day out to put ImageSoft’s best foot forward. We take pride in maintaining a people-first environment where each team member fits with our culture and is passionate about helping both ImageSoft and customer organizations reach new levels of success. We have grown into a company of well over 150 employees, a feat that once seemed a dream. Teamwork makes the dream work, and we would not be able to offer you the best solutions and customer support without every person we have working behind the scenes.
      • The chance to work with innovative technology: Without advancing technology, we would not be able to do what we do. The world around us can change so quickly, and we are grateful for advancements that make it possible for us to keep up with demand, offer new services, and improve security measures. We take technology very seriously, and we are in awe of the limitless possibilities that come with it. Combined with experience from our team, we are able to utilize technology to develop new solutions that help businesses reach and exceed even their most optimistic goals.
      • The opportunity to continue to grow: Lastly, we are thankful for the chance to grow and improve every single day. We rely on feedback from customers, market trends, internal team members, and outside research to stay in touch with what industries need. There is always another challenge to overcome, a new pain point to target, and new features to be developed. In a world where work can be mundane and monotonous, we are grateful for the opportunity to come to work each day with something new and exciting to work on.

Once again, from the entire ImageSoft team, thank you for being you. Our success and growth would not be possible without your support, and we are excited to see what we can achieve together in the future. We’re wishing you a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday, and we encourage you to think of your own quick list of things to be grateful for.

Worth a Look

The idea of being watched as you go about your day isn’t exactly comforting to anyone. However, more and more homeowners are installing video surveillance devices and smart security on their properties to help prevent crimes. This article recounts a personal story in Los Angeles where expensive homes are rarely seen without top-notch cameras covering all angles. Luckily, many homeowners get to enjoy funny clips recorded by their security system, but they always have the peace of mind knowing that any nefarious activity will be captured and can help catch a criminal in the act.

What are the 6 types of evidence vault can assist with?

The Justice System is extremely complex, and a lot happens behind the scenes that those outside the industry don’t fully understand. One of the areas commonly misunderstood is evidence. There are six types or categories of evidence that are most commonly seen in Court. Those types are real/physical, documentary, demonstrative, testimonial, circumstantial, and digital. It’s important to note that there is some overlap between various categories, meaning a single exhibit can be classified in multiple ways. Thanks to some innovation paired with secure and reliable technology, Vault, ImageSoft’s Digital Evidence Management system goes beyond the call of duty to aid in the storage and management of all six types of evidence, not just “true” digital evidence.

When’s the last time you took a photo on your cellphone? How many homes in your neighborhood have security cameras or doorbell cams? Technology is all around us and is making its way into every aspect of our lives. The accessibility of video and audio recording has proven extremely beneficial to the Justice System in the form of evidence. However, courts are not always equipped to handle digital evidence, especially multiple formats.
