The summer is flying by this year, and we’re looking ahead to one of the biggest events of Fall, CommunityLIVE 2022. CommunityLIVE is a customer event hosted by Hyland Software each year to bring users together to train, learn about new product features and releases, and connect with other professionals in the field. We are thrilled to be part of the annual celebration and we encourage all of our OnBase customers to attend. It truly is a treasure trove of information, and you’ll be the first to know of any big changes on the horizon over at Hyland.

If you’re on the fence about attending, we have compiled our top four reasons to join us at CommunityLIVE 2022. This year’s conference is in Nashville, Tennessee from September 11th through the 15th.

CommunityLIVE is back in-person and is the perfect opportunity to network

Although last year’s virtual conference was excellent, we could not be more pleased to be back to an in-person event. CommunityLIVE is, after all, about the community, and nothing beats connecting with others face-to-face. You will have the opportunity to chat with other professionals throughout the day, including some designated networking time. There’s nothing more effective than face-to-face conversations when it comes to building relationships with others. We all know how important it is to have connections in business, and CommunityLIVE can help you meet people from across the country in a variety of job roles.

Why is networking so important? Well, to make a long story short, networking builds connections that can help you get ahead in the industry. Hard work can truly pay off, but being close to someone in the business can make all the difference. When you connect with someone on a more personal level, you build a good rapport with them that can transfer into future business meetings and dealings. Success can depend quite heavily on who you know, and a multi-day conference like CommunityLIVE is the perfect environment to meet decision-makers in your field. All attendees are OnBase (or other Hyland Software) users, so you can feel confident that they have similar business practices and beliefs that will work well with yours should the opportunity arise.

Hands-on training sessions with Hyland experts will help you master OnBase

Hyland Software offers training at CommunityLIVE 2022

As always, the first two days of the conference are dedicated to training sessions. Attendees get to learn about the Hyland platforms from experts to better understand the solutions. Training is hands-on and interactive, allowing you to put what you learn to use right away. The best way to learn is by doing, especially when Hyland unveils new features!

All training sessions are led by experts from Hyland who are prepared to answer any and all questions you may have. Whether you’re just getting into OnBase or simply want to refresh your skills, the training days are hugely beneficial. Session leaders can help troubleshoot common issues you run into, and they can show you ways to make your system work more effectively for you. Questions will be answered in real-time so that you can master the platform and take your knowledge back to the office with you. The training sessions are optional but they are wildly popular. There is an additional fee associated with them, however, the skills you’ll learn are worth their weight in gold. For a minimal fee, you and your colleagues can fully grasp the system and put it to work in a way that will aid in reaching your organization’s specific goals.

Stay up-to-date on insider information about Hyland, OnBase, and business technology

The final three days are typically referred to as the “Main Conference.” During this time, you’ll be invited to attend a variety of general sessions, product-specific sessions, keynote speaker discussions, and more. Each session is designed to cover a different topic about Hyland, OnBase, or technology trends in general.

We encourage you to view the sessions for CommunityLIVE 2022 to plan out your days beforehand. Several sessions run at one time, so you might want to split up your attending team members to divide and conquer. We asked our Principal Sales Engineer, Terry Chaudhuri, what sessions he’s most excited about. We want to share his list with you to give you a starting point for planning:

  • Transition to the Hyland Cloud seamlessly
  • Hyland experience platform (HxP): Understanding the evolution of content services
  • Leveraging AI and machine learning to meet your organizational goals
  • Application enabler overview: Integrate your business systems and OnBase without custom programming
  • Building low-code applications: Intro to WorkView enhanced with forms and workflow
  • Transform communications with CCM: Introduction to Content Composer
  • Meet the new OnBase mobile: More enhancements for your users on-the-go

Session specifics and keynotes are still being finalized, so check the website often to stay up-to-date on the newest information. Pro tip: you can filter the session finder by track name, experience level, or suggested job roles to find sessions that are most relevant to you.

ImageSoft customers are invited to a Morning Meet Up for catching up with all things ImageSoft, and The Night Out (TNO) for a night of fun, food, drinks, and games

Lastly, you should attend CommunityLIVE for all the fun we have outside of the sessions! Hyland is a gracious host and never fails to make the event fun. We just like to take it one step further and do a little something extra for our customers who attend. Prior to the start of Day 1 of the main conference, join us for Morning Meet Up. We’ll help you navigate the conference and give you tips and tricks for getting the most out of it. We also have a lot of ImageSoft news to share, so you’ll get the exclusive rundown of what we’ve been up to and what we have coming.

It’s become an annual tradition of ours to also coordinate The Night Out (TNO) for our customers. We rent out an event space and let our customers unwind! This year’s TNO will be held on September 14th following the main conference festivities. We’ll be heading over to 6th and Peabody for a night of moonshine, beer, tacos, arcade games, cornhole, and relaxing.

Additional details for both ImageSoft events will be coming shortly, so be sure to register for CommunityLIVE 2022 to add your name to our list!

So, will we see you at this year’s CommunityLIVE? Registration is now open for the training sessions and the main conference. ImageSoft folks will be around the conference center chatting with guests, attending sessions, and reconnecting with our customers. If you need help registering, or if you have any questions, please contact our event coordinator, Amber Innis, at ainnis@imagesoftinc.com. We look forward to seeing you!
